The Alaska Native Fund is accepting Letters of Inquiry (LOI) for the 2012-2013 grant making cycle. The Alaska Native Fund was launched in 2011 by the Alaska Conservation Foundation and the Alaska Native Fund Steering Committee to advance Alaska Native priorities for protecting the land and sustaining our ways of life.
**Letters are due July 15, 2012 and must be submitted using the LOI format.**
The Alaska Native Fund supports work to address climate change impacts, protect food security, support renewable energy and energy conservation, connect human and environmental health, and promote sustainable economies as alternatives to extractive industries. Projects that apply leadership, gathering, art and expression, communication and technology, and/or policy as core strategies will be eligible for support.
In 2012, the Alaska Native Fund anticipates granting a total of $125,000 for qualifying Alaska Native organizations and individuals. The Grant Guidelines are on the
